Global Internet Ad Spending on The Rise

Global AD spend for the Internet is forecast to increase greater than 15% in 2009 at $58.7 billion, according to ZenithOptimedia. This is a significant increase amid drops in both Newspaper and Radio ADs of greater than 6% globally. This is pretty exciting news for the social media budgets.

And with online polling and advertising innovations from sites such as Linkedin, I'm not surprised in the projected increases at all.

So the internet is safe, alive and well thanks to the savvy online consumers and businesses.
